2009 Yamaha clicking while brakeing

When I brake going downhill, I hear a metalic like clicking coming from the rear of the cart. The noise is similar to reverse peddling sound on a ten speed bike. The noise quits when the cart stops or when letting up on the brake. The cart is brand new and am wondering if there is a setting that is incorrect.

I don't have much experience with the drive yet, but maybe what you are hearing is the regen system. See what your dealer says
