Where can I get a watering system for a 48V DS (6-8V) with Interstate batteries? I've searched around and found kits for Trojans...will that work on my Interstates?

Try Flow-Rite watering systems. They should have universal kit depending on the spacing of your cells in your batteries.

thanks, I have conflicting reports about which kit to use...one guy said to use the kit for Trojans, another site seemed to call for the US battery kit. www.janwp.com seems to have the best prices (I think I saw they have free shipping) I'll give them a call tomorrow and order the correct kit.Comment

Got the watering kit from janwp and got it installed...very happy with the whole deal. janwp shipped very promptly and the installation was simple. The kit came with clear instructions. Was a bit surprised the lines weren't pre-cut, but it wasn't a problem, just be sure to cut them a little long. After installation, I had a bit of spillage, so I just flushed the tops with some soda solution with no problem. Then lightly rinsed with a hose, also with no problem.
