  • 99 club car won't charge

Hey guys! I'm new here looking for some help. Newer electric golf cart owner here and I have some problems. My brother in law is a mechanic and got me a deal on new batteries for my cart. I assumed they were all the same, but he got me 36 volt instead of 48. I installed them and it wouldn't charge. I replaced all battery cables, still nothing. Finally figured out I had wrong batteries, swapped them out still won't charge. I replaced heat sink in charger, fuse, breaker wires and the plug that's inside the charger, still doesn't work. Any ideas where to go from here before I take it into a shop. I really appreciate any advice anyone has to offer!
    Thanks!!!!!

Hey, did you happen to remember to run the cable through the obc?

Yeah it's hooked up to the computer. Wondering if I fried something in the computer or possibly the charger?

Is buying a different charger and bypassing the OBC a viable option??

Yes first check to make sure the pack voltage is at or above 48 volts this way you know the obc can at least “see” the batteries. You may need to individually charge to get them up up to par.

You could have a 3 pin or 6 pin connector on your OBC, let me know which one and if you need a bypass guide
