Specific Gravity Readings

Hi! This may be a stupid question,but here goes anyway!! Does it matter when specific gravity readings are taken?(before charging the batteries,while charging the batteries or after charging the batteries & let them set for a few hours) Thanks for any info you may be able to provide!!

I am pretty sure It should be done after charge and settle time, but now that you brought it up why don't you try it before a charge during a charge and just after a charge along with a 12 hours after the charge.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!I didn't know if it mattered when the test was done but I'll take the readings as you suggested & see if there are any variations in the readings.
