  • stalls on depressed pedal

93 Club cart 36v with brand new batteries.
Installed new batteries. ran great but stalled when pedal was depressed all the way down while going forward. no problem in reverse. It got worse and worse until now it will barely run when I press the "gas" pedal, solenoid clicks, it barely moves but it feels like it does not have any power. press the gas pedal more to give it more power and it shuts down. Runs normal and quick in reverse.
...OK. so i cleaned the contacts to the F/R switch. nothing.
.. I switched the 2 wires from the F/R switch to the motor and now forward is fine but reverse has the issue. Does this mean the switch is bad? or is the controller in the crapper??
I've searched the forum and the web and I cant find an answer.
I'm lost and ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated....
    thanks in advance...

thanks for the response. sorry it took so long, I was out of town.

      The serial number is A9331339295
so i'm assuming its a '93. I see the controller box on the roof in the back and I cannot see any coils.

When I check the 2 wires coming from the controller to the F/R switch during reverse the voltage goes down. (which is guess is normal since reverse works).
There is no change when i check the wires during forward....

      So....is my controller bad??

      thanks again.
