I have a 1989 36 volt Club Car and a 1998 36 Club car neither will pull up a minimal grade. We have new batteries, new controller, replaced the brushes in the motor of the 89 cart. Nothing has helped. What is next?

Since you've already tackled the batteries, controller, and motor brushes, it might be time to delve a little deeper. Have you run a load test on the new batteries? Sometimes, even fresh batteries can underperform if there's an issue with charging or one of the cells.

Also, check the connections thoroughly to ensure there are no voltage drops or weak spots in the wiring harness. This can significantly impact the power delivery to the motor.
