Just purchased a '94 CC. Need to know what lubricant type and quantity to put in the differential. Looked at Lube Point thread, but got no info on the differential. Is there a drain, or is it a sealed unit ?

Hey there, let's break down what's involved in changing your 1994 electric club car DS differential fluid. Now, the manufacturer recommends using SAE 30 for this job. So, here's the game plan: You'll want to jack it up, then pull the fill plug, which you'll find up the side of the housing. After that, pull the drain plug (below the fill plug) to drain the old oil (and make sure to check for any foreign material in the oil). Keep an eye out for any strange stuff in there. Once you're drained, replace that lower drain plug back in the hole. Lower your car back down and start pouring in SAE 30 through the fill hole until it seeps out the fill hole, you'll need about 22 ounces or so.
