Problems with a new lift kit

I recently purchased a lift kit for an ezgo txt from rocky top carts. I believe the cart is a 2004. When we tried putting the new front axle on, there was nowhere to connect the steering arm on the drivers side and the old spindles won't fit on either. The pic that came with the instructions don't show the connecting arm either. I am at a loss of whats wrong.Do I have the wrong part or just a faulty one. Any help appreciated.Thanks

Sounds as though you have the wrong part.

04 should have the rack & pinion steering.
