  • Clutch Removal

I have a 1988 Club Car gas, and I need to replace the drive clutch. Is there room to get it off or do I have to unbolt the engine and slide it over? Is there a special puller or can I make a threaded bolt with a long stud end? I have a metal lathe. Thanks for the info!

Hey rgauto. No there is not room to get it off, you need to at least unbolt the motor to get it to clear the frame. You should be able to make a home made puller, if I can remember correctly I think the bolt you need is a 5/16 inch.
    Regards
