Battery Size and Cold Cranking Amps

What size and cold cranking amps should a 1993 club car DS battery be to start the gas engine? Mine has a lawn mower battery with 300 cold cranking amps. Thanks for input on this matter.

For a 1993 Club Car DS gas you'll typically need a group 70 battery which packs around 700 Cold Cranking Amps. If you're using a lawn mower battery with 300 CCA, it might struggle, especially in colder weather. Upgrading to a group 70 battery would give you more reliable engine starts.
