club car 96 valve adjustment

my elderly neighbor lady has a club car gas golf cart the engine serial # is fe290d-es05 i figure its a 290 cc dont know for sure. it had 20lbs compresion i removed head and found exhaust valve not seating properly i tore valves out cleaned stems and faces and seats and lapped them in with grinding compound it now has around 120lbs compresion and does run i set valves at .008 but was just guessing does aanyone have a manual on engine with specs that could tell me if im close want to have it right for her.
