problem...please help!!!

im new to golf carting, we recently bought a 1997 club car gas powered cart. The ignition was bad so we put in the new switch, here is the problem.....the reverse buzzer goes off but when you push the gas you can hear the solenoid click but no response from the engine in forward nor reverse can anyone help?

Hi rambler. What voltage do you have in your battery? Check the voltage when you press the pedal too.

did it it runs around 12 or 13 when u push the pedal it drops to 12....its so frustrating haha

Try jumping the solenoid using a 6 gage wire across the 2 large posts.
