  • Throttle problem.

Hi, I have a 97 club car gas. It will only start or begin to go if I barely push on the throttle. If i push it to the floor it'll sit and spin the motor but won't start. It runs perfect once it starts and starts easily. It is just kind of a hassle because there is a very small "sweet spot" to get it to start. I'm sure it is a linkage issue, but I'm not sure what to do as far as a readjustmen. Any help on this issue would help. Thanks in advance.

Sound to me like the choke is not working on cold start. The small sweet sport is the butterfly acting as a choke. Check your choke cable and choke butterfly to make sure its working properly.
