  • 93 gas Club Car

    Hello,
I just registered today. I have a 93 Club Car just given to me. It has been sitting in a garage for 10 years. I have cleaned it up, installed new battery but it will not fire. I pulled the plug and cranked it and it appears to have a good strong spark, same with the fuel pump line to the carb and it has fuel flow. I am not sure where to go next. I would appreciate help.

    thanks

My guess is that the carburetor is gummed up/plugged. A carb rebuild or replacement is probably in order.

if its been sittin that long i would also replace all the fuel lines along with the vacume line to work the fuel pump.

Disassemble the intake tube, crank the engine over and spray some starting fluid down the bore of the carburetor. It may just need that extra kick to get things loosened up and firing again.
          Regards
