Has anyone used a after market Caltric starter/generator?
Are they reliable?

I have not used that brand before, but do this. Put the Caltric and the OEM starter generator side by side and ask yourself, is the caltric more than half price off? Is it worth it if I just spend the extra money for a OEM SG? What warrantys does each company offer and which one is better? And finally, you are a year down the road and it breaks and you have to replace it again, do you really want to replace it again?
