1996 clubcar sometime won't start

i have a 1996 gas clubcar which after running it for a while sometimes won't start when the gas pedal is depressed.....nothing no click or anything...a few times when i stomped the gas pedal it started,but over the weekend i had to tow it and when i got on it after towing it ..it started.Six months ago i replaced the starter- generator...could this be heat related.

Hello sumraw, welcome to the forum. Nah, make sure you have a new battery or fully charged battery. If you are sure of that, jump the solenoid by running a 6 gage jumper cable across the 2 large terminals. If it works, replace the solenoid.
