Help with 1983 Yamaha G1 gas

I am having trouble with my golf cart. Solenoids are making clicking noise, won't go forward or backwards just clicks. Anyone know what could be wrong. Thanks

while mashin pedal, BE CAREFULL but try & roll the clutch around a bit, if it starts you have a bad spot on the armature inside the starter /gen or bad brushes. put the cart in neutral, seat off, rear end jacked up. check to make shure your power is going across the solonid also.

Check the battery & make sure it's fully charged.....Mine was doing the same thing & it was a bad battery........Changed it & it started right up.....Good luck

hello, i have a 81 g1, its done the same thing to me 2 times, clean the cables to the solenoids and starter, it doesnt take much dirt to not make contact, good luck
