If anyone can tell me how to remove or bypass the governor it would be greatley appreciated. I diagram with step by step instructions would be amazing.

I've got a simple mod that might just do the trick for you. On your yamaha G2 find the governor bolt that looks like the pic, then just wrap a ziptie around the whole mechanism and pull it tight to simulate tightening the nut. This will bypass the governor and potentially boost your max speed to around 18 mph.
