    how do i replace the starter belt on a 1988 g2 yamaha cart
    the old one is showing signs of wear

    Hey whip, There is a tension bolt on the starter. That must be loosened until the belt is no longer snug. Then simply pull off the belt. Replace with new belt and snug.
