Yamaha G8 Gas Golf Cart won't fire

Hi, anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong. We have done the following:

Replaced the sparkplug
added fuel stabelizer
checked all connections

Shortly after replacing the sparkplug - it started firing but would not turn over, we found leaves in the air intake and cleaned that out, found a loose connection (not sure what it was for) and suddenly it fired up and ran like a champ around the block 3 times...and was running very well, then died again and now will not fire at all.

Spark, compression, fuel. If you are missing one of those, your golf cart will not run. It seems like you have spark and compression, but now it seems as if you are not getting fuel. Easy way to check, take off the spark plug and pour a few drops of gas into the cylinder. Replace the plug and try to start. If it runs, clean the carburetor.
