97 ezgo

hello, Have a 97 dcx, 48v w/ 400 altrax controller and 48v sol. Stock motor.Controller green light on, but when u press peddle it flashes 6 times red.According to altrax, low voltage, I have 50.1 v and between b+ and b- I have 50.1 v. Solenoid does not click, also found broken resistor wire on solenoid. Did I fry my solenoid? I replaced resistor but no go...thanks

Check to see you are getting control voltage to the solenoid coil (small posts).
6 LED flashes indicate low battery.
Place a 6ga jumper across the large posts of the solenoid, if the cart moves, replace the solenoid.

Thanks, Doug After checking voltage everywhere, I jumped solenoid,that was my problem......Thank You!!

If you were getting control voltage to the solenoid coil and the the jumper worked, I am confident a new solenoid will solve your problem.
Be sure that whichever solenoid you use, that it is for continuous duty.
Let us know when you get it fixed.
Good job on dancing through the circuits with a meter!
