Gas Club Car won't restart after it's ran for a few minutes

I have a 90's club car. After it sit's unused for a while it starts and will run forever, but the first time I stop the engine it will not start again unless it sits for a couple of hours.

I can jump the solenoid and it will start which lead me to believe it was the solenoid. I changed it, but am still having he same problem.

Something is heating up and shuts down when it gets hot that doesn't allow the cart to restart until it cools back down.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like your microswitch is going bad. Also, check that all your connections everywhere are clean and tight.

Thanks Matti...I checked the switches next to the solenoid and they were fine. I went to my local cart shop and he suggested I try the microswitch behind the forward/reverse handle. Sure enough...that fixed the problem.
