  • Precedent cranks slow

I have a brand new battery in my Precedent, however it doesn't always want to crank, and doesn't seem to crank all that fast when it does crank. It runs fine when it is started. It was fine last year, and this spring these symptoms have developed. Any suggestions or troubleshooting tips?

    Thanks!

I try not to work on gas carts so here goes if way off disregard.

take two volt meters put one on the primary side of the starter solenoid and one on the secondary side try to start and note voltage on both.

if secondary side is lower than primary side then dirty solenoid, If both drop then wire from battery, or battery is not being charged if both are high then wire to starter generator or starter/gen itself.

Great advise, I'll take a look at it this weekend when I'm at the camper!
      Thanks!
