I had that problem after the float seat in the carb got stuck up and allowed the fuel to flow. It filled the crank case and the airbox. Not sure if thats your problem but thats what happened to me.

The needle and seat is leaking in the carb, allowing gas to trickle down an seep past the rings. A good carb cleaning will probably cure the problem. It could also be a defective float. It may be just be a spec of crude in the needle and seat. Either case order a new needle and seat, fuel filter and clean the carb. In the mean time you can put a fuel shut off valve in the fuel line to keep it from seeping til fixed. Change oil and make sure no gas is in the crankcase upon starting, a flash back can cause a major fire.
