Was wondering if anyone had any information on the engine kill hookup, on the wiring diagrams it stop at a point of saying engine kill hookup and goes not further. Does anyone know excatly what this box does?

The cart is starting and running when it wants too. The other times it just turns over and not running, we just let it set and it will start and run. We were just looking at the diagram and the lead stopped and says goes to engine kill hook up.Comment

Classic symptoms of a ignitor that's on its way out or the rev limiter, if you are running the cart and then it dies from no spark, check those first.RegardsComment

If you are looking for the engine kill hookup, I believe it would be the rev limiter. Follow the ground wire that comes off the coil, that's the limiter. Bypass the rev limiter by disconnecting this wire. If your problem persists, it has nothing to do with the limiter.
FYI the rev limiter shuts off spark to the engine before it over-revs, saving your engine from "blowing up" when getting into the red RPM's.RegardsComment
