91 Columbia par car 2 stroke

i have a 91 Columbia par car 2 stroke. i am trying to get it to go faster i have looked into alot of stuff but no luck i had to put a new carb on it and the throttle is no longer hooked up so when you push on the gas petal and the switch so open it is full throttle but i can only get the cart to about 10mph. i hope some one can help me i would imagine the cart could go alitte faster then 10mph. i also put on a new secondary clutch.

Another years old unanswered post taller tires will give you 2or3 mph but acceleration will suffer.
