points and condensor question

Just got an '87 Colombia Par given to me. Was converted over to points. Being an old shovelhead rider and, of course, fixer, I noticed they are the same points as the Harley shovels. Which are by the way, the same points as the late '60s chevy 250 cu. in. six banger. My question is; Can I use the same condensor in this cart, or will the voltage pulse be different? Thanks in advance for any word of knowledge!

I would think you could use any condenser from any vehicle that used the running voltage most likely 6 or 12 as long as it fits.
