Hi, I have an 82 gas 3 wheel harley, i just bought it and have a question, he said it ran 2 yrs ago but was wondering about the fuel, i have to clean out the tank, there is no fuel pump, he said all i have to do is stick the line down into the tank and it will draw the fuel. Is this true or was he pulling my leg? I did read a thread where the carb draws the fuel, Thanks for any help.

Pretty unlikely that would work without a fuel pump of some sort. If your cart has sat that long with fuel in the system then I would definately clean the entire fuel system. Old gas is bad news.
