My Golf Cart Backfires

What can I do to stop my cart from backfiring? It is a 3 wheeled harley davidson.

Check that your throttle is closing all the way when the peddal is not pressed. If it is open, gas will enter the cylinder and blow off in a huge puff when spark is added again to the cylinder. hope this is helpful.
