If the 20x10x10 tires fit, why not give them a try? Moving from the stock 18 inch tires to 20 inch could potentially provide a 10-15% increase in top speed. The reason behind this lies in the larger tires covering more ground per revolution effectively increasing the cart's speed output. However, with larger tires comes a change in the "gear ratio", which may impact torque. While speed may see an improvement, there could be a trade off in torque affecting the cart's ability to handle heavy loads or steep inclines.

To maximize the benefits of this upgrade, install a new drive belt alongside the larger tires. A fresh drive belt helps with optimal performance and efficiency with the increased speed load. It's also worth considering the overall driving conditions you typically encounter. If your primary use involves traversing flat surfaces or open areas where speed is key, the larger tires could be a favorable choice. However, if you frequently encounter rough terrain or require torque for hauling heavy loads, it's important to weigh the potential loss in torque against the speed gains.
