EZGO Marathon 1994, dipstick rubber missing

Newbie to Golf Carts, but old guy in the aviation maintaince world.
On a recently purchased ezgo cart I found oil had been blown from the dipstick tube, when I removed the dipstick I found the rubber seal missing, assuming worst case if the rubber pieces remained in the crankcase what could be the results?. The Robin engine being a splash lub system, is there any oil passages that could become plugged with rubber trash?

This dilemma was resolved by contacting a Robin eng tech who explained the oiling system, all oil to the head/valve area passes through the oil filter first, it was suggested that I remove inspect and clean the oil filter twice, more if traces of debris were still evident.

If it has an oil filter wouldn't that have to be pressure system
