The wires are for the speed sensor.
This is a sepex motor. I'm not sure what cart you have but if yours is a series motor this is the wrong motor for the cart.

Is this motor off of a Yahama or Ezgo, Club Car uses advanced or GE and it would be sepex if not it may be used for tac output (I think Yamaha)

also club car does not use sepex on 36 volts how about a better picture and label info

                  If it's a PDS it's 2000 or newer!

most likely series 19 spline ???? someone school me on this

correct and the motors will fit on any EZGO rear end from mid 90's up. But as stated it's a spex motor. The PDS model carts will have the senor wiring on them.

You will need to find what wire is what to splice into the PDS senor wires. You should have a 4 wire connector that plugs into the controller that runs back to the motor.
You are going to have to figure out which wire on the new motor is which.

                    FYI
Red = 12 to 20 VDC from controller
Black = Ground or neg from controller
Green = Hall Effect output +5 VDC pulsed output
