  • rearend clicking and now will not move

I have a older 36v club Car/Ingersoll Rand serial #A9838-69934 that the motor runs however, when I press the go pedal the cart does not always move. Prior to not moving I had been hearing a constant clicking or clunking noise coming from the rear end. Now the cart no longer moves but the motor does work and try's to turn the axle, there is a clicking sound and a clunking vibration from the rear end. This is an older cart with what looks like a standard axle. When I remove the rear brake drums the wheel studs remain on the end of the axle, it does not have a splined brake drum. Acts like something has broken in the rearend pumpkin. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Your missing a lot of info is the motor running ?
with the info you have given it could be anything the click is most likely not involved.

your kind of missing the point here does the motor turn when the wheels do not turn it really sounds like you have a battery problem check voltage while running
