Need Help on 95 Club Car

Am working on a 95 club car for a friends hanicapped daughter. The cart will move forward and in reverse but if you try to go up even a slight incline it makes a clicking sound under the seat and does not move. can anyone help me this young lady is in a wheel chair and wants to be able to move freely around the campground Thanks

Most likely is bad battery, bad battery connection, sounds like the main solenoid is dropping out and that's the clicking noise. going up hill puts more strain on it.
