Boat wheel to a Yamaha

I have a stainless boat steering wheel that is for a 3/4 tapered shaft that I would like to use on my g14 Yamaha. Any ideas of a way to make it work? I know its probably not going to work but I have it and think it would look nice.

There are adapters to go from tapered shaft (marine) to a Grant type wheel but I have never seen any that go from marine to automotive.
