  • How Often Do I perform an engine oil change?

A simple engine oil change can lead to a long healthy golf cart life and save you a lot of time and money in the future. Oil changes should be performed on all gas golf carts semi-annually or after 125 hours of running time.

    Key Tips:
    • Drain oil while engine is still warm. (Not hot!)
    • Drained oil should be pure with no large or obscure objects in it.
    • Tip or jack up the cart to ensure all the oil or debris has fully drained.
    • Clean oil filter with a solvent or replace.
    • Refill engine with SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 motor oil that meets or exceeds SF, SG, CC oil.
    • NEVER overfill

*Help keep the earth a clean and healthy planet. Always collect and dispose of used oil in the proper and legal manner. Contact your town or state for disposal guidelines.

  • How Do I make my golf cart street legal?

    Posted by Michael Eddie
It varies from state to state. As long as you have the basics... lights, turn signals, windshield, wipers, mirrors, seatbelts and a horn you should qualify to register your cart as a golf cart or a custom vehicle.

    Do I need Insurance?
In most states insurance is required on golf carts. Even if it is not required, look into it. I know you will thank it after you crash into that expensive BMW.

    How much does Insurance Cost?
I've seen it range from as low as $50...

  • How Often Do I charge my golf cart during storage?

    Posted by Michael Eddie
All batteries self discharge over time. This rate is determined by the age of the batteries and the surrounding air temperature. Before storing the cart, fully charge batteries and then fill them with distilled water. While being stored, recharge the batteries every 25 - 30 days.

*If your batteries ever fully discharge then they will be damaged beyond repair.
