Hi everyone. I live alone on a farm since my husband's death. My main mode of transportation around here has been our E Z Go golf cart. It won't go now, and there isn't any service place around here, so I'm going to try to fix it myself, with some advice from you all, I hope.

Hi! Iit's a 1999, 36 Volt, Serial # 1185548. It says "Arnold Palmer" on the front. About a yuear ago, it started acting up in reverse. Sometimes it would go and sometimes it wouldn't. Then it wouldn't go it forward, but if I pushed it a little it would sort of "catch" and suddenly take off. Now it won't go at all. It doesn't make any noise. I cleaned up the battery connections and made sure everything was tight, but that's all I know how to do, so far.Comment

If you don't have a meter to measure voltage you will need to get one, they're cheap and you can't really fix an electric cart without one.Comment
