  • G-9 gas won't start

Getting my cart ready for spring and put in the battery today which showed a charge of 12.8 volts. Tryed starting and all that happened was the back--up buzzer sounded but nothing else happened. Any ideas where to start checking?

Hello. You should hear a click when you press the gas. If you are not getting a click, tap on the solenoid with a small solid object. If that does not make it work, jump the solenoid by connecting the two large posts with a 6 gage wire. If the motor turns over then you need a new solenoid.

Had the battery checked this morning, it was bad, works fine with new battery.
