  • Yamaha G1 Wiring Question

I HAVE A 1981 G1 YAMAHA GAS GOLF CART. I RECENTLY REBUILT ONE OF MY SOLONOIDS WITH A REBUILD KIT. wHEN I PUT IT BACK TOGETHER, I THINK I PUT A WIRE IN THE WRONG PLACE. MY MODEL CART HAS 2 OF THESE SOLENOIDS WITH 6 POSTS ON THEM. I NEED TO SEE A DRAWING OF WHERE THESE WIRES GO TO ON THE POSTS. I WOULD RATHER HAVE A MECHANICAL DRAWING RATHER THEN JUST A WIRING DIAGRAM. IF SOMEONE COULD EMAIL ME A DRAWING SHOWING THESE WIRES AND WHERE THEY ATTACH TO, I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL. THANK-YOU IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP.

Hey John, Did you replace the wires too? Are they the original colors?

They are the original wires. On the solenoid closest to the passenger side, the colors of the wires that go to the plug are blue for the top right post and black for the lower left post that hold the coil. There are also four other posts that hold wires that go to the motor and also another post that I believe holds the fuse block. I am trying to make sure that I put it back together correctly after I tried to clean the inside plates.
