I bought a 1998 G16 gas cart and went to install new drive belt ..removed cover (three bolts) under the cover there is no middle bolt holding on clutch shaft just flush shaft ..inside the clutch seem to slide in and out like it should with weights lowering and rising..BUT when I install cover back on the belt cover and face that moves wont slide at all ..no movement at all I know the cover and belt face should slide in and out with cover on ..but with cover it does not ..please help anyone ERIC 586-292-2979 if someone can give me help I really need it thanks MI

well found out my problem ..some how the weights/dogs were sitting on top of roller pins causing my clutch cover and weights/dogs not to work ..so I removed pins holding weights/dogs and installed them inside the clutch and works fine now ..thats just some problems of buying something someone has already messed up ..thanks anyways
