yamaha g1 starter wiring

i just got a g1 with the starter out and the battery was gone i need ot know how the battery cables go and where the wires hook to the starter i have three and and i have nothing to go on f1 thanks dbow

Yes it is.

The one coming from side of starter goes to positive (A1 )

It should have another smaller wire that also goes to positive to charge battery.
