  • yamaha won't run

I have a 2000 yamaha gas cart. I used it to go down the street and then on the way back I stopped for cars to go by and went to start going again and had nothing at all. I step on the gas pedal and there is absolutely nothing. where should I start to look. the battery is good.

try looking under the floor mat where the pedal isand see if there is a panel that will lift up . then check where the pedal is and see if there is a stop switch . take a screwdriver and tap on it while you push on the pedal . i have an older golf cart and it worked for me . the tech told me that they dont go bad but pluges up with dirt .

Clean up your battery connections, and tug on the cables to make sure there are no broken cables. Check the fuses to see if any went bad. Tap on the solenoid, and if that does not do it, jump the solenoid with a 6 gage jumper wire.
