RXV will not engage in gear

I have What I think is a 2012 RXV with a Roy lithium battery. When I turn my key the cart jumps and then the alarms starts beeping. It’s no longer the continuous alarm but a beep beep beep. The cart makes the same beep in R, N, F and will not move. It started off doing this periodically but now it simply doesn’t work.
repair man said he fixed it. Replaces some spring/swing in in the gas peddle and said he replaced the key switch
