Ez go not going right

I have a 2005 EZ Go TXT that has had an electrical upgrade done to it. Everything works as it should, but it will only go about half speed in forwards but will fly in reverse. I have checked every wire on the F&R switch, the solenoid, the petal switch and the controller. Everything is wired right. My only question is could the A1 and the A2 be reversed, or could it be the S1 or S2 that is wrong? I am fixing this cart as a favor for a handicap friend, and he really needs it, any help would be appreciated.
