  • 97 TXT low power in Forward

ok I have a 97 TXT with a lift kit and 22's,I was having power problems on hills so I installed a larger solenoid and a programmable Alltrax controller 400 amp. I replaced all cables with 4 gauge. Now after that I had great power, trow you back acceleration. Well last week I was camping in the mountains and the cart was in the rain,I got up and tried to drive it and now have vary little power in forward, will move on level ground, not real fast, and creeps up slight grades. Reverse seems good, and trying to load it in the back of my truck with almost no power is a real pain. Now batteries are charged,it just stopped working correctly overnight. Did the rain mess something up,I have checked and do not see anything wrong.

Do you have the half speed in reverse hooked up? Orange wire on the controller five pin. If so un hook it sounds like it's staying in half speed mode.
The 72 volt cart I have for off roading started doing this also. I just unhooked it.

Should be the #4 terminal on the controller.
