Battery Maintenance Question

My Cart has brand new Trojan Batteries on it. I was just wondering if its better to use bottled or tap water when I need to fill the battery cells up when needed? Also, what would you recommend putting on the terminal connections in order to keep them from corroding etc.. Thanks!

All deep cycle batteries use distilled water

Distilled water not bottled drinking water. Most bottled drinking water has added
minerals etc. for taste, not good for lead acid batterys.
