I recently upgrade from lead to lithium on my 2019(?) Club Car Precedent. The reconfiguration of the battery compartment took time. I also snipped the old charger port to change to NOCO GCP1 for the onboard charger. I remounted the exact same cables from when it had the 6 8v batteries. I get 50v to the motor. The sound bar is the only thing connected to the 48v to 12v RedHawk converter. Where does the panel get its voltage? It does not go into forward or reverse. What am I missing? Driving me crazy! Please help. :-)

Double check that every cable especially those tied to the main negative and positive connections is exactly where it was and tight. With the old charger port wiring snipped make sure nothing from that harness is needed for a interlock or run/tow circuit by looking at the wiring diagram. Was there any wire left unhooked or maybe a spark or unusual resistance when tightening cables? That’s often a sign a connection was missed or a fuse was blown. Check all fuses and the main controller connection as sometimes even a little oversight there can keep it from running after a conversion like this. Sometimes it’s the smallest thing that holds everything back.
