  • Off and on

Have a 2010 club car precedent and after running for about 15 minutes it looses power off and on. I replaced the speed sensor and throttle control already. Batteries are a year old. It runs and then just shuts off. Then restarts. Any ideas?

Since you've replaced the speed sensor and throttle control, and the batteries are relatively new, let's explore a couple more areas.

Given the symptom of intermittent power loss after running for about 15 minutes, it could be linked to overheating components. Check the controller and motor for signs of overheating, such as excessive heat or burnt smells. Overheating can cause these components to temporarily shut down, leading to the loss of power.

Additionally, inspect the wiring harness and connections for any signs of wear, especially around areas that might experience vibration during operation. Loose or corroded connections could intermittently disrupt the power supply, causing the cart to shut off and restart.

Consider monitoring the voltage of the batteries under load when the cart starts to lose power. A drop in voltage during these episodes could indicate an issue with one or more batteries not delivering power consistently.
