Stereo Install Questions

Howdy,

I'm thinking about installing a stereo in my 2002 DS. Looking to put in an XM portable radio with a reasonable amplifier, nothing too big, and some marine grade speakers. Looking for suggestions on mounting the speakers. I'm not really crazy about the overhead consoles I've seen, but won't rule them out if I can't figure out something better. Maybe some fiberglass mounts under the dash? Any suggestions?

check these out. i have the pods for ezgo on my cart, they are far better than the overheads. much sturdier and provide much better sound.
