  • Another Charger

I got this charger yesterday and it want come on.

Is it as a power wise charger just jump the 2 wires in the cube and see if it works?

Everything seems to be in place as best I can tell.

On the black plastic pieces in side the charger remove the black wire amd transformer wire connected next to it connect them together unit should start. If that works then it's troubleshooting time.

If I read your model number correctly it is 08750 which is a 36v ferroresonant charger.
Attached is the owner's manual with wiring diagram.
And a photo of just the wiring diagram for convenience.

OK thanks. I wanted to make sure before I tried it. Want to see if it works at all before I spend any money on it. Cost so for $35.00, got a power wise charger also for $50.00 it works. It looks like crap but it works well with it bypassed anyway!

Thanks for the and qiuck replies.

Yea that's the one I found also complete unit first one and relay only second one. It must be plugged into a cart to come on was it?
Put it all back together put your meter on the two screws for the relay board or center white wire and one or the other screws plug it into a cart and see if there is any power to the relay.

I'm not sure what you mean.

One lead on white wire on relay. Charger I understand
What screws are we talking abouut on the cart side?

Oh wait I think I got it.

There are 3 screws holding the relay board to the timer I'm pretty sure those are allso the connections for the relay board You just want to check to make sure it's not just a relay

Put ground on white wire and red lead on the other 2 screws. I didn't get anything. I only had batteries hooked up do I need the AC pluged up too?
                          Thanks.

I didn't get any kind of a reading with the meter at all.

Black on white center wire and red on the other two connections. Nothing.

well pull the relay board off and make sure where the connections are to the relay board, also read the info on the relay and see if its 36 vdc or 120 vac coil.

but with your charger luck lately it looks like a new controller board is on order.

if timing off is all thats needed the timer below will work you can have 1 or 2 pushbuttons on the panel for reset and start or just 1 and it will do both

                                    OMRON H3CA Solid-State Timer
